Pregnancy is totally the time to treat yourself, your body is doing an incredible job of growing another human so go get that relaxing treatment or treat yourself to some amazing new natural beauty products which are great for you and baby or just take the nap……  Over the last 7 months I have tried out some wonderful products that smell amazing and leave my skin feeling super soft.

Here are some products that I think you will love!

Bamford Botanic Nurture Balm – This incredibly soothing balm is so nice to moisturise your bump with and keep stretch marks at bay. When I use this I really feel like my skin is getting uber hydration! The organic blend of lavender, chamomile and tea tree smells divine, it is more on the expensive side at £24 for quite a small pot so I just used it on my tummy rather than whole body!

Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Nourishing Oil – This product I was actually using way before I was pregnant, as it says it really is nourishing and a great price at £10.95. It smells lovely and fresh, sometimes I like to add in a few drops of essential oil such as lavender or chamomile to add to the scent and benefits.

Mama Mio Keep Calm Nipple Balm £12.00- The mixture of medical grade lanolin, organic shea butter, coconut and olive oil blend is soothing and relieving for sore nips! It’s a really lovely product and is totally safe to use when breastfeeding also. I have only used it a little bit so far, but I am sure i’ll be using it much more in a couple of months….

Dr Hauschka Blackthorn Toning Body Oil £18.90 – Another oil I have used over the years and it is wonderful! The biodynamically grown ingredients of blackthorn blossom and birch leaf leave your skin feeling amazingly soft and supple. It’s a great oil to put on straight after the bath or shower and has a non messy pump.

Night Delight Organic Calming Sleep Balm – Seriously, this balm I swear it has magical powers! I normally sleep on my tummy, which for obvious reasons I can’t do right now so sleep has been a little interrupted (husband’s snoring might have something to do with it too…) ANYWAY, rubbing this balm on my pulse points before I go to bed I find I get a much more restful sleep, Will (said snorer) swears by it too! It’s not currently retailed in the UK but you can get it from their website at 49 euros. Personally, I think it’s so worth it.

Pinks Boutique Rose & Geranium Hydrating Water £22.75 – I cannot tell you how useful this was a few weeks ago when the UK was sweat central! I kept it in the fridge and spritzed myself as and when needed. As well as keeping you cool it is a great product for angry or sensitive skins.

That’s a little round up of what I have used and loved so far, I would love to hear if anyone else has any other recommendations.
